MDR Photography Classes offers beginning and intermediate courses and workshops in food photography and also in the business of photography. Courses are taught by Christina Peters, a successful food photographer with over 18 years of professional experience and often with other colleagues of hers in the industry. Courses are held at Christina's comfortable Merseyside Studios in Marina Del Rey, California. We are also offering private instruction as well. Please contact us for more info on that.

Natural Light Food Photography for Chefs, Food Bloggers and Designers

A fun class for anyone interested in food photography. This class is tailored not for the professional photographer, but for those who want to create delicious and attractive images for their web sites, blogs and small printed pieces. Students will learn a variety of fun and simple techniques for preparing, presenting and photographing all types of food. Class includes an actual photo shoot in the studio with natural light, followed by instruction on importing files to a computer and optimizing them for publication on the web. This is not a food styling class.

Studio Light Food Photography for Chefs, Food Bloggers and Designers
A fun class for anyone interested in food photography. This class is tailored not for the professional photographer, but for those who want to create delicious and attractive images for their web sites, blogs and small printed pieces. Students will learn a variety of fun and simple techniques for preparing, presenting and photographing all types of food. Class includes an actual photo shoot in the studio using Tungsten light followed by instruction on importing files to a computer and optimizing them for publication on the web or in print. Christina will have inexpensive lighting kits available for each student to use. If you like the kit you will have the opportunity to purchase it. This is not a food styling class.
